Oasis have reached 7 with the release of Dig Out Your Soul, just wondering if it had been bettered.

Led Zepplin and Abba with 8 each. Robbie Williams has the record for solo artist with 5.

I'm assuming Beatles have the total album record for number 1's, but not consecutive.
