Music What's the most gigs you've been to in a year?

I know for a fact that Big Jeff here has been to almost 86 gigs in a month, let alone in a year.

Myself, I saw about 150 last year and that's excluding the ten or so gigs I had tickets to but didn't go to because of ANXIETY

Anyway, I want my Guinness World Records certificate, and I want it now.

Does seeing a dozen bands at a festival count as a dozen gigs? Or is the festival one gig? In case of the latter, how do you realistically get to 86 in a month...?

Individual festival shows count, but support acts at headline shows don't.

I was wondering cause I used to go to a multiday festival (Lowlands) where I would see 30-40 acts each year. I mean really see - maybe not the full show but enough to get a good impression. That way, I can see the 86.

(I may have gotten over a 100 myself at some point - but over the course of a full year!)

Over 1 Glastonbury I might see 30+ bands alone if we are counting festivals.

If we are counting just headline shows I'd say maybe 30 or so over a year
