What's happening with Bangladesh?

If this is a serious question, we're not playing tonight mate.

We play Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

A combination of overconfidence, Muralitharan and Sri Lanka's pace bowlers taking advantage of the new ball will see us lose.

Plech you always make me laugh!

To be honest I have never taken any sort of interest today, thought England played good, I watched up to 100 wickets, what happened are they winning or losing?

So Melb, you reckon Bangladesh will get hammered by the SL?

100 wickets? Bugger, they really made sure of the result didn't they?

And yes mate, we have a woeful recent record against them. They've also acquired a couple of new pacemen who will love the conditions and their spinner, Muralitharan, is arguably the best bowler of his generation and absolutely murdered us last time we played them.

To be fair Melb, the selection of the Bangladesh squad is well FECKED up mate and that is why I don't like to watch the cnuts

Eh? Why's that?

Because players who come from wealthy family participate.

Meaning that players who have a wealthy background get selected.

That to me is the same argument Freek or someone who posted that "If you are not black you are not selected" and I know you can only name a very little handful of the players who come from a poor family background.

Therefore it is not fair and I refuse not to watch them

Not quite the situation in Bangladesh mate.

The blokes who are in the side now are mostly teenagers, or fresh out of their teens, and they have excellent track records in underage comps and in our first class league. They're all in there on merit.

Tbh, the talent pool in our country is still so shallow, I don't think they can afford to select players based on class.

Thats what they have been doing all along Melb and I hate that, that is one of the reason why bangladesh is so fecked up because of the class pin-pointing.

Yes, that's undoubtedly the case in all walks of Bangladeshi life but the 11 players in our cricket team are the best 11 players in the country by quite some margin, as indicated by their records.

That could be right, I'm not aware of.

I have to admit though, when they won Austrailia, I was well shocked!

Gay spastic.

While everyone might find this suprising, Bangladesh certainly have no shortage of talent, they have excellent youth teams and very good young players. The issue is nurturing them to playing cricket at an international level.
