1)We have a coach - Queiros..good for the players.
2)Veron wants to prove people wrong and repay gratitude....
3)No world cup distractions.
4) Blanc has had one season under his belt....
5) Silvestre wasnt half bad last season...which means he is improving.
6) May have a Brasilian coach...samba moves for the future....
7) Barthez also has something to prove....
8) Must be a greater desire by the players to win after having a disappointing season last year......
9) we have a more confident Butt ;)
10) No fergie is leaving distractions.....

Cant wait for the start...... :)
 
Also, no tiring pre-season tour to Asia (unless you count world cup). We've had two (summer 97 and summer 01), and both times won nothing. Coincidence?
 
The World Cup will play a factor on those players who were involved towards the end of the season.

Nevertheless, you've rightly pointed out all the positives. Queiros will have a positive presence, as will Blanc/Verón.

Was a USA tour not planned....?

But I agree...no Asia tour will be an advantage...Utd play the Amsterdam Tournament with some good teams...more sensible pre-season preparation IMO.

The NIKE launch has been quite too which I think is good also.

i think the loss of mcclaren was huge for the players' attitudes, hopefully queroz will give 'em a kick up the backside.
 
Becks hairstyle is always new.....great for publicity

Apparently Nike can only advertise their brand with Becks if two other Utd players are in the photo-shot.

I noticed this morning on one of the back pages of an English paper...an article about the NIKE deal with Becks (only) picture....Nike got their way.

I wonder how much they paid the reporter for that publicity article.....smart people at Nike.
