to make this forum a lot quicker on match day has worked a treat.

Excellent work.

Cheers cw1984. I think you're the first person to comment on it but that's actually a good thing - no news is good news when it comes to site performance :)

The server upgrades over the Summer have greatly improved the site capacity (the record number of users online was broken on Wednesday) so onwards and upwards from here!

I used to avoid this place on match day because it was so slow but it's definitely sorted it out.

It almost makes up for that 4 days when it was off line, only almost though ;)

Congratulations Niall and the rest of the top cheeses around here for making this fantastic site what it is.

Yeah, great improvement, noticed it a lot today. Well done lads.

Congratulations indeed. This improvement didn't go amiss.

:mad::mad: Don't - ever - mention - that!!! :mad::mad:

;)

You mean that time, people from around the world shat their pants simultaneously with the knowledge that redcafe had disappeared.

Wind ups were being spread that the site was gone for good.

It was chaos. Refugees gathered on makeshit forums, as well as suggestions we should for a refugee colony over on RAWK.

And yes I saw the typo, it seemed more fitting to keep it as is, rather than replace with "makeshift".

Wow didn't realise we broke the record after the Burnley game.

A small issue Nial, but every now and again I do get a "this service is not available" page while clicking links. It comes and goes really and doesn't last for more than 5 minutes so no big deal.

It just happened a minute ago when I tried to click on a "go to last post" button, after around 5 clicks the page opened.

Hmm I didn't even think about this today after the game.

It happened to me too so I stayed away from the Match thread. So I thought it was business as usual but it seems ours is not the norm
