What went wrong...........

Overall its a dissapointing performance.We were outnumbered..
we were up initially up against 13 men ..referee and linesman included.
Later to my surprise i found that Giggs in a united jersey was playing against us like a extra defender for them.Time is running out for Giggs..he should return to academy and practice how to pass the ball properly using his legs.
finally its like 8 facing 14 with Gary Neville and Blanc like dead woods.
How can we win?
I cannot understand how long Beckham is going to mess around with freekicks and corners.As i had mentioned somewhere else in this forum Veron should take corners and Beckham freekicks.But Becks is returning from injury and also he is not in form.So atleast for a week or two he should leave it to Veron who is showing some kind of form. RVN on some days he is brilliant some days he is awful..

A final word about Giggs.I think he needs a break for one or two weeks away from football to recharge his batteries.
He is a class player and i hope he comes out better.

I disagree......giggzy needs a rest so does Ruud...both played awful...i thought Becks added a lot to the game yesterday and played well and it is time to give him a start....Veron played pretty well with Brown and Scholes...everyone else played pretty ordinary......the referee was awful..Mr.Barber we had 2 clear-cut penalties.......well hope things can only improve

Hereafter Beckham should start every match.
The more he plays the more likely he can discover his touch.
Now a days he approach too instense about winning back his place to see us through.
By playing Beckham as a substitute SAF is putting
meaningless pressure on him.

Why keeping on Laurent Blanc

We had a steel defense with Brown, Silvestre and O Shea, the best in 2 years so why putting in the 37 year old defender who SERIOUSLY lack of pace and stamina

He is our defense achilles heel. Put a fast forward on him seems the main opponents weopon against us

And btw let us return to the old hardworking self for God sake

Yes I totaly agree with Blanc being in the team and not Silvestrie, and Oshea made some mistakes but that is all part of gaining experience.But for me Keane should be allowed to come on as a sub as he did'nt played a good game at all.And what is up with the referee he was totally against us with that two penalty that in my view the one of giggs was a penalty.
But we will be back!!!!!!!!

I believe that Manutd have the STRONGEST TEAM in the EPL but we are not exploiting our talents fully.

Let us take an example

1. The defense. Ok many know my position with Laurent Blanc, but while I agree that he was instrumental in the learning curve of our young defense, I think that he shouldn’t be considered as a first teamer anymore. Come on let us be practical, against Arsenal, Liverpool and Deportivo we had witnessed a magnificent defense ( the best since the treble) despite losing 30 M rated Rio. It’s a fact that Brown, Silvestre ( in the middle) and OSHEA clicked together well and altough I would leave some space for Rio, its out of the question that Blanc ( now 37 years and seriously lacking of pace and stamina) can hold back these geniune talents.

2. Midfield. It would be mad to say that our 30 m rated world class stars should stay on the bench but its also a fact that a player is a human being that can pass from bad patches. I would introduce our players little by little, giving them that extra confidence of play (for example Keano had just came out from a bad injury) and let them get used again to that rhythm of play. On the long run I would introduce Djordic and Richardson while selling those who will NEVER make it at OT (Chadwick)

3. Attack. Its unfair to judge RVN, but its also mad to rely completely on his goals. We need two forwards in the attack. A powerful natural scorer and a creative one ( Cantona type) that can give us a different approach in our forward line.

PPL (inc me) expect him to be a Powerful Natural Goalscorer and a Craetive one, mainly because we have just one striker, but he is powerful and natural, but we need someone creative, like Cantona...you know what I mean
