i was at OT when gary Buust broke his leg and i remember picking up the papers the next day to see pictures of Choccy holding his hand while he was on the ground. a gentleman and a scholar he was.

Did you hear what Gordon Strachan said about David Buust when he'd anounced his retirement from football because of that injury? It was something like "It was such a shame that he got injured like that, but I don't think that he would have played many more games anyway. He always gave his all when he played even though he lacked ability". What a thing to say about someone who's just been forced out of the game by injury!

It's a bit of a different situation. Buust had a compound fracture of his leg and never played again, this bloke had a bit of cramp.
