which is the best science fiction show nerds?
 
In my opinion, the older Stargate SG1 was up there with Star Trek: The Next Gen as the best sci-fi series ever (well, I guess X-Files also has a shout, but it's a completely different style).

Even the newer ones are the best out of that lot, but it's certainly not as good as it used to be.


Edit: Firefly would also have been up there if it had lasted more than half a season.
 
Battlestar Galatica classic - A little bit crap... the new version from 2003 is mint. Olmos as Adama is simply brilliant.

Star Trek Deep Space 9 - Not bad, not bad.

Star Trek Voyager - Not bad, not bad.

Farscape - Very cool show. Rygel XVI will make you laugh to tears... also a great bad character called Scorpius. Good and intelligent science fiction with VERY talented actors.

Stargate SG1 - That's a feckin classic. A must watch show !

Stargate Atlantis - You must watch it, if you watched SG-1. The Wraith rules :devil: !

Well the new BSG isn't on the list so I assume you've already watched it. If not I'd put that above the others.

I just started watching Firefly and it's really good (that is if you dig westerns & sci-fi).

I used to watch Deep Space Nine, and that was also good, and my mate who watched loads of later ones assures me that it gets better. But voyager (in later episodes) squeezes Jeri Ryan into a stupendously tight body suit, which is nice (not quite as nice as Marcos' suggestion, but with a bit of imagination, not far off.)

I've decided on Farscape then cnutos. apparently there are four seasons. Am downloading the first one now.

there are four seasons and a mini series, Peacekeeper Wars (to finish the storyline after it was canceled)

the first season is actually the worst of the lot in my opinion (not that it's bad), it really gets going in the second season
 
Ok so I've watched a season and a half of Farscape. Just got done with the triple episode where Crighton got a daughter. Its a decent show with good characters but I am starting to hate the lead character. The constant use of cliches is extremely fecking annoying.
