ie. if you own more than one console, choose your 'main' one

I guess that makes the Wii cheaper too, you don't have to get a fecking expensive TV to enjoy it.

A HD LCD.

Geometry Wars looks feckin' amazing with the lights out.

I am saving up for a big full HD one though. Not sure about the whole Plasma/LCD thing though, is one definately better or is the difference barely noticable?

There are a lot of people that wished that this current generation of consoles didn't do HD at all, but rather put their computing power towards making the very best of normal standard TV resolutions.

Agree, maybe it should've waited until the next generation.

I wonder how good the hardware has to get before amazing visual effects are so common that developers can go back to just focusing on gameplay.

When we bought our TV I asked the salesman that, he said that there wasn`t a very big difference but that LCDs were better for playing games on. I have no idea if that is true or not though.

Right now I run a 22" LCD ... it's perfect for my office. I'm saving for a 56"-72" plasma/LCD in the near future.

I have a 32" HD LCD TV I use for everything...

I'm even posting from it now

Just how much would I have to pay to get a decent tv these days?

Remember, I'm a fecking poor student.

X-Box (not 360) - 50 inch LG Plasma and I never play it myself. The screen is one of those HD but not 1080i ones.

Samsung 27" HD LCD for my PS3 over here. Love it too.
