There are a lot of people that wished that this current generation of consoles didn't do HD at all, but rather put their computing power towards making the very best of normal standard TV resolutions.
I'm not implying it's stolen, it just sounded cheap.
God, I don't think I've even seen a 50" Plasma HDTV.

I wonder how good the hardware has to get before amazing visual effects are so common that developers can go back to just focusing on gameplay.
When we bought our TV I asked the salesman that, he said that there wasn`t a very big difference but that LCDs were better for playing games on. I have no idea if that is true or not though.
Right now I run a 22" LCD ... it's perfect for my office. I'm saving for a 56"-72" plasma/LCD in the near future.

X-Box (not 360) - 50 inch LG Plasma and I never play it myself. The screen is one of those HD but not 1080i ones.
Not a lot of plasma users then.
When I occasionally play the PS2, I play it on my 8 year old 21" Goodmans piece of shit tele. It's an amazing experience.
