Who in your mind has contributed more to the glory of Manchester United since 92?

Too many. Its a team game, therefore hard to single out individuals

Well seeing as you posed the question - what's your own opinion.

He asks the questions, he doesn't answer them ;)

But it's all a matter of opinion surely.

Though most would probably agree with you. Eric was the catalyst.

Eric was outstanding for us during the treble-winning season ;)

It's too broad a question Waz. Over the past ten years, there have been so many inpsirational faces. You cannot pick one out.

The only logical answer would be Ryan Giggs as he's the only one who's been there throughout (on the playing staff).

Sir Alex Ferguson obviously.

Player-wise it has to be Eric, not just for what he did on the pitch, but for what he stood for. He WAS Man Utd, he epitomised this club perfectly.

He was inspirational for the fans, players, everyone and I believe he was a factor in the likes of Beckham, Giggs, Scholes and Butt in becoming so good.

I'd have to go with Fergie but I also think he works best when he has a coach that he completely trusts, so Kiddo and Steve mcClaren get a mention too.

Players that have made the biggest difference -- Eric, from him I think the others discovered genius, and more recently Keano who like it or not plays with heart.

The great Dane. Or Giggsy.

You cant justify Eric being the most inspirational since 92 cos he was with us for only a short time compared to others.

no question.
Massimo Taibi.

Bryan Robson. He may not have played much in his final two seasons, but his off field influence can't be understated, especially regarding Ince - and he helped Keane a lot throughout the double year as he struggled to settle. Without Robbo heads would have dropped after the 92 debacle.

First instinct is Cantona. But then you have to say that from 92-02 covers a lot more than the Cantona era.

So for me it would be Sheringham (without that equaliser we wouldn't have won the CL), Ole, Cole/Yorke, Schmeichel and Irwin. And Keane. And Scholes, Beckham, Butt, and Giggs. And Jaap Stam, Gary Pallister, and Steve Bruce. Oh. and Sparky, Barthez, Kanchelskis, Robson and Ince.

Apart from that, no-one really.

Cantona was the catalyst. But Id have to say for Schmeichel. He was immense. Reliable and basically the dogs bollocks.

I would say that he won us more games than many of the strikers since 92. I wish we could have a young Pete. :( He would have our defence shitting themselves about putting a foot wrong

Cant name 1 but the 3 I think have been the most influential were Eric/The Great Dane and Keano <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />
