Thanks for your contribution. Another possible candidate that feels plausible ...Messi
De Gea, Valencia, Pogba, Martial, Ibrahimović & Mkhitaryan - we could improve every position I haven't listed here.

Bailly would be one for the XI, not entirely convinced yet though.Bit harsh on Bailly,
EDIT: also forgot Mata aswell
I"What new players..."
Maybe my English sucks but I mean I new player to buy in 2017. My bad.
One player. Not from RM, Barca, Bayern, Chelsea, City or Liverpool. I'm asking to much....
Okay, but Javi Martinez from Bayern? Is he a regular there? The reality is right now were looking at replacing Carrick at #1 priority so Busquets? We all know that wont happen so its whoever you think the best DM that we could get is.
But yeah the correct answer is still Messi.
Zlatan
Martial - Messi - Miki
Pogba - Herrera
Shaw - Bailly - Smalling - Valencia
De Gea

No N'zonzi for me. We have had enough failures with central midfielders, N'zonzi is not even a youngster anymore. Either we should go for world class CDM or an extremely talented young CDM like Madrid did with Casemiro or we promote the likes of Sean Goss from our academy. He has the 6th most League mins, with the 7th highest who scored rating. Im not saying thats a big factor, but he looks to at least be a pretty important member of their squad. We're probably going to have to look for a player where moving to us is a move up not just from a similar size club. I honestly can't think of any one of the top of my head, people have said that lad from Monaco or N'Zonzi but I haven't watch enough of either to give a honest opinion.
Do we even need this? Pogba is switching the play very nicely for us? I remember when Scholes was around, Carrick used to pass the ball more simply. Maybe we just need someone in that position that can recycle possession.A more expansive passer than Weigl
Is this as a replacement to Shaw or as a back-up or as competition?Kolašinac
Of course we do, just like Juventus did with Pirlo behind Pogba, or Madrid do with the Modrić + Kroos duo - who're both adept at creative/expansive passing. Pogba is not a reliable expansive passer just yet - that's the key here. He has inspired passing moments where he takes your breath away with a sumptuous delivery, but not sustained and precise influence over 90 mins (relative to a Verratti or Thiago), and we didn't buy him to be the primary passer of the team. He's best suited to being the all-action Gerrard to someone's Alonso, and Paredes has the potential to be that Alonso/Pirlo type deep lying organizer who sits back in the middle of the park (instead of trying to move forward will the ball - which is Pogba's strength), pings the ball all over and controls the momentum of games:Do we even need this? The good thing about Kolašinac is that he he could play both roles. He can slot right-away in our XI and perform at a good level, but he's not a massive name (like Marcelo or Alex Sandro or Alaba) where the signing essentially spells the end of Shaw at United. So you can then develop Shaw in an organic fashion, but in case Shaw doesn't improve, you have a safety net with someone who's good enough in Kolašinac. Plus, they have similar physical metrics, and comparable overall skillsets, so you won't have to change your system if one is replaced by the other. He's an absolute no brainier as a free signing in the summer. Is this as a replacement to Shaw or as a back-up or as competition?
