are new midfielders. Murphy, Smicer, Berger, Barmby, and McAllister just aren't going to win you the league. Hamman and Gerrard are both quality, but you need a good creative prescence in the middle. A player like like D'Allesandro would be ideal for you.

What football needs is fans that try and undertans each other.
But the system GH has them playing basically neutralises a creative midfielder. So feck 'em

Pool's defensive system is better understood by opposing teams now. Last night was a good example. Without the lightning skills of Owen the system falls down. I thought that Anelka lacked confidence and is well on the way to becoming Donkey Mark 2! You should consider playing Riise at centre forward when Owen is out?
