A few things - A songs Lyrics can be whatever you want it to mean - so if its suicide or death or animal rights that is fine

I think its about 2 married people who have found themselves together outside their failed marriages and want each other so much..... So in fact its a love song for me.....

I see what you mean Baz, but surely if the song was written with the sole purpose of being a tribute to a certain person. Is it not then futile to then try and find another meaning out of it? Songs like In The Air Tonight, people say its about him seeing a person drowning but doesn't save them but actually he has know idea what he wrote it about then they can be specualted on. But if this song was about the person the poster above says then i feel that this is topic closed, on this song anyway.

P.s. i hate bastards who just google it and ruin everyone elses fun.
