I am always 100% behind anybody who is privelidged to pull on the United shirt, however if they fail to live up to expectations obviously there will be critism. It appears that if you dare to mention that you think any given United player is out of form or simply not good enough to wear the shirt people question your love of the club. As we all must realise now there is no room for sentiment at the highest level if you don't perform you're outta there/here.
There are certain members of the current squad who are simply not good enough, our achievments last year and performances this year add testament to that .
I am a passionate United fan and have been for over 30 years and I will never get on a players back during a game whatever I think of him personally in fact I will always offer 100% support.
I want us to be the best as well as the biggest club in the world and feel our current squad falls well short of that mark.

Still it could be worse we might have been knocked out of the C/L by the mighty Basle :)

That depends on how the critique is done!

Whilst playing offer 100% support no negativity from the crowd..However constructivly criticise when neccessary and notice when a player simply is not good enough.Obviously there will be differing opinions but sometimes it is as plain as the nose on Pinochio's face yet people fail to agree.I think loyalty is good but being loyal for sakes sake is pointless IMO.
In the current squad I feel most of us would agree that Larry has had his day and that Phil Neville has never been a midfield player and never will be , however the response will be interesting
