I'd hope our resident Pool fans can give us an honest answer.

First there is Donkey 1 goal in 30+ games Heskey and now there is Diouf, who scored fewer than goals in 5 games than Forlan managed in less than a game in the World Cup.

Where do you think you'd finish if Owen is injured?

Heskey's had one decent season in front of goal and one poor...but he still managed some vital goals

Diouf was excellent during the WC, looks a real goal threat to me, but I know little about his history...I'll let you know after I've seen him play for us

We've survive without Owen as we have before, but it would obviously be a huge blow as he's fantastic

My, my. We now discuss the scousers shortcomings in their very own thread in the United forum. Some would say we were obsessed. Non interessante.

But the fact is he's managed ZERO goals in 5 full games.

So?

Thats the way it goes sometimes...

Is he the first decent striker to score no goals in 5 games?

How many goals did Totti score in the WC?

You mean Totti - the one player who continuously fails to deliver outside Serie A?

;)

and do you hear people saying Totti having had a good World Cup?? Totti played badly and everybody knows it.

On the other hand, Diouf failed to hit the bet, despite playing more games than Totti, and had supposedly had a good tournament... <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
