Today that was a schoolboy mistake

Admit the fact that we don't deserve to win the title or any competition for that matter with these kind of performances popping up every now and then.
Veron, the defence etc have been the main culprits but overall it's a collective thing.

Sadly, that's true. I really hope he can show us his true class at least by the start of next season if not now.
That is if he doesn't move off to Lazio.

I would have agree with his statement and I fail to see why you've called him a glory hunter.

What pisses me off even more is that Veron was stripped in the same way down field only a couple minutes earlier. I would have expect that to be his wake up call. But, he played like he was King Sh.t.

Hate to say it, but I think he has got enough chanses now ! how many does he need ! Tou don't need a full season to settle in or what? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Maybe I am biased but I am willing to give him until the first third of next season to show us his magic - I am still mesmerized by his form during the '98 WC and with Lazio when they won the Scudetto.
The same cannot be said of players like Brown, Mickey etc who have had several seasons under their belts and has failed to convince me that they are good enough to be first-team regulars.

There could be a good reason for that
Barthez had Fkall to do with it
It was Silvestre that gave him the ball and Carbone was hardly breathing down his neck when he received it
Hope that clears things up for you

</strong><hr></blockquote>
its fairly obvious from that statement you haven't seen the goal.
It was a perfectly normal, no pressure pass from Micky to Veron.
Veron pissed around needlessly turned round to face Barthez and Carbone saw his chance. There's nobody to 'blame' except Veron.

The speed of the English game is unbelievable compared to the other leagues and don`t forget that just because Veron is a very talented player doesn`t mean he must automatically adjust to a new team in a new league and never, ever make mistakes.
The man is human and until some supporters actually get out there on the pitch and play in the Premiership they will never understand its speed and demands.
Manchester United should have recovered from any mistakes made in the game. We have enough class and firepower to do it. Yesterday was an off day, an unlucky day and yes, it is bad timing but do you really think the lads themselves wanted it that way?
Our lads are super but also human. Not superhuman!</strong><hr></blockquote>
Thats a stupid excuse. Thats like saying a seial killer is the way he is bcause he was beaten as a child and we should forgive him for it, its not his fault. That does not change the fact that he is a serial killer and has done a lot of damage. The truth is we have paid a whopping 28 million for this guy, and he is not performing to the standards expected of him. I dont care if hes Argentinian, loves lazio or is not used to the English game. He's a professional football player, football is football wherever you go. I want Veron to succeed I dont want to see him perform like this, but he has been doing it time and again. I would love him to prove me wrong, and from now on play 10/10 in every match. Then I would like everyone to rub it in for me doubting him, but that is seriously not on the cards, he is not a crap player at all, but he has not proven to the Man Utd faithful that he is worth 28 million pounds. You have to earn your respect.

Has Beckham proved to you that hes worth 50 million?
Has Giggs proved that hes worth at least 30 mill?
The price tag doesnt matter, he made a mistake yesterday. Thats what happens if we are going to keep up this ridiculos policy of signing humans.
Veron is an easy target for knockers. Was his mistake worse than Giggs miss?

Yeah
0-0 would have been better than 1-0

Its still a mistake and both equally easy to fall for.
Thats the problem for Keepers and defenders, ie when they make a mistake its costly but when an attacker does it its soon forgotten unless its of Andy Cole vs West Ham proportions.
The fact that we couldnt score against Boro is the fault of a lot more ppl than Veron. Had we lost one nil to west Ham would Silvestre have been slaughtered? As it was we won and its forgotten.
Try and see the big picture.

The defence has been collectively shambolic on many occasions this season, under pressure they've Fked up
Under no pressure, one should not commit errors to that degree
Dont just take my word for it, give Fergie a ring and ask him if he 'Collectively' bollocked the defence at half time or if he had a special phrase for JV

Becks and Giggs have already proven to all the Man Utd supporters their worth, Veron has not. We all True, they have been here many more years, but we payed 28 million pounds, and should get more out of him.</strong><hr></blockquote>
I'm not too sure whether the money is an issue
I would not expect Robbie Savage to fk around with the ball like that in the danger zone

I sms'd him and he replied that he had collectively bollocked em all =

So had we have paid 50 mill for Becks last week and he played like he did yesterday and for the majority of the season youd be happy?
