No they don't really make anything like your list anymore. Don't feel old about it though, it's all mostly dumb flashy shit to appease the goldfish like minds gamers have these days :smirk:

Most of my PS1 games are in another room, and there's quite a few PS2/Gamecube games are on shelves that I can't see so easily without getting up off my arse.

Once I've finished getting the DS games I want (though that's not going to happen any time soon), I'll start with one of the older systems/handhelds, probably the Megadrive (with extra focus on Castlevania: Bloodlines :cool:)

This thread depresses me....just thinking of all the games I lent to people, not to mention my Megadrive, which was never seen again.
 
Shame that. I'd love to play a new sim city or Lucas arts adventure game (I think there might be a chance of that though, not from Lucas arts obviously but the same lads that made those games)

...Captain comic 2 would also be awesome

I guessed you might have, but I was worried there for a second ;) One day I really should inventory my games and line them up to get a photo, but I reckon I easily have a 4-digit number of physical copies, let alone the amount I have via the likes of steam/psn/live.

I still have unopened games dating back to the 90's too. I'm beginning to think something's not quite right :lol:

Yeah I seen that, I think you or someone made a thread on it a few weeks back. I'm very excited about it. Very disappointing they have to resort to fundraising to make games like that again though

To those claiming to own Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, etc, do the games still work? All my old pokemon games died (so you cant save and load) because the internal battery in the cartridge died about 10 years ago.

Red, Blue and Yellow should work.

You won't be able to save in Gold, Silver and Crystal - any saves will be lost once the internal battery dies. Time-based events won't happen either.

Time-based events (i.e. berry tree growth) in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen won't happen, but the saves won't die (in contrast to Gold, Silver and Crystal).

The other games shouldn't have any other issues.
