I dunno what they offer with this special "channel"... does someone have it...??? stéphanie

We've got it. Mostly bollox. The phone in's are incredibly tedious.

However the saving grace is the reruns of United matches which is what we got it for

The best thing about it is that you can see all of our Premiership matches within a day or two. Subscription is only £6 a month which isn't bad when you consider that on pay TV, you'll be charged £8 a match for certain United matches above your regular cable bill.

Had it from the beginning and it's only just worth having it now because of the reruns of the games.

TBH, it isn't worth the money.

Don't have sky, have seen it a few times on the coach on the way to Manchester, someones recorded it for something or other and stuck it on the video...

Not really all that impressed to be honest from what Iv seen of it, if city had made it however, it would have been the biggest, sorry, Massive thing going ;)

Taking the topic further, I wonder if these club TV channels will ever negotiate the right to show their team's live matches in the foreseeable future?

I'm sure the broadcast rights would cost them millions but if they showed every game, I'd say they'd have alot of customers willing to pay.

They'd have to outbid too many networks and even if they did, you'd be looking at paying an exorbitant amount for subscription because clubs only play twice a week. Advertisers would only want to advertise right before, during and right after the games so the other 5 days would be dead air time in their eyes.

A possibility would be if United teamed up with the Storm and some other local sports teams but I can't see that being viable atm tbh.

It may happen, but I doubt you'll see it happen within the next ten years.
