Got a chance to see them this Sunday, but the tickets are £62 each, which unbelievably, is their face value.

Worth it?

Think Kasabian are supporting, but I'm seeing them next week anyway.

Someone I know is seeing them tonight I think.

He's a **** though so i won't be asking how they were.

Saw both of them with the Prodigy a few weeks back. Oasis were very good in terms of the performances on the night but didnt really interact with the crowd that much. Kasabian are excellent live.

You sure face value is 62 quid?! Saw Oasis, Kasabian, the Enemy and Twisted Wheel (the latter two are shite) at Heaton Park for the face value of 45 quid.

Anyways the problems with Oasis live these days as opposed to the '90s are:

1. Liam's voice is shocking, although in typical Gallagher egotistical fashion he performs a lot better and tries a lot harder singing his own songs.
2. They aren't coked out of their minds like they were in the '90s, and oftentimes won't do surprising stuff in terms of crowd interaction etc because of this.
3. They play a lot of shit from their last 2 albums - e.g the meaning of soul, to be where there's life etc, which frankly, is boring.

So as a live experience they are a watered down version of what they were, but it's still worth it since they do play most of their good songs as well, they've reverted to closing with I Am The Walrus again which is a fantastic move in my book, and Kasabian are on the same bill. My advice - go.

I have mates going to see them tonight at Wembley, I'll get back to you

Opted out.

£62 quid each, plus the hassle of getting back afterwards, plus the fact they were seated tickets in Wembley stadium, with no specific details as to where.

Didn't seem worth the hassle/risk of it not being that good

Noods, I got some tickets to go and see S Club 7 in Baghdad for £75 each, you interested?

I have another mate going to see them tomorrow.

just came back from seeing them at wembley, i thought it was great, loved the masterplan and half the world away. But i was probably most impressed with Kasabian, hadnt seen them live before but they were feckin' great. Reverend and the makers were good as well, but they were on pretty early so it was only around half full

i havent seen oasis before, but liam seems to like dedicating songs to people, before slide away 'are there any lesbians out there?' everyones cheers 'well this is for all the lezzers'
