C'MON UNITED!!!
i think he gave a very good performance on wednesday..
maybe he can be our next box to box defensive midfielder.
he's tall..mobile..good at tackling(he intercepted alot of passes that night..feck!)..and he's skillful..
i think he played as a defensive midfield before he was converted as a defrender bside hierro..

Real has more chances to replace Figo, or Ronaldo, than to replace Helguera. And with the decline and fall of Hierro, he's still more irreplaceable.

Do you think they would allow him go?

Why the feck would you want him?

Did you really watch the match?

yes..i know he scored an own goal..but a good performance by him consider he's actually a defensive midfield..
and did u watch the match???...he intercepted alot of passes..

The thing is, a defensive midfield player isn't really at the top of our list of priorities right now is it?

I would put that as:

1. Centre forward
2. Wing competition/backup
3. Leftback
4. Long term Keane replacement
5. Long term Schmikes replacement
6. Defensive midfielder

And that is going to take several seasons to achieve, even if everything goes right and the signings actually settle in and work.

Arrogant prick!

Helguera, I believe is the most 'unbelievable spot' for the role. He would be quite amazingly good, Shakiraa.

But, again, I guess we don't come up with his name simply because it sounds a lot too incredible that Real would let him go!

Gaffer try to buy him some time back, if i'm not mistaken that was on 99, as per the news that i read say that real accept the offer but the player reject the move.....
