I'm disapointed we didn't win but what a great 2nd half display, it was wonderful to see us dominating the possesion again, Chelsea couldn't get the ball from us! Utd. haven't passed like that for quite a while and it was great, gives me a new hope for this year seeing us perform to our potential. Scholesy couldn't put a foot wrong in the second half, but I'm obviously a fan of his... We played well today with 5 midfielders but IMO Scholes should play with Keano in the middle and Solskjaer should start up front, Ole has certainly earned that, it's not his fault the manager has one too many great midfielders to choose from. What a performance though, there's nothing like seeing us dominate the opposition like that, I just hope it continues! Great game! :)

I know this may be being a little too picky after our second half performance but we have to look at the match as a whole. Chelsea scored their two goals from individual mistkes.
The first, a stupid free kick given away and then Keane lost his player, granted the rest of his performance was excellent and he more than made up for it.
The second was a bit of niaveity from Roy Carroll he should have been more aware of the time, but he's young and it's the only mistake i've seen him make in the 3 games so far.

The second half performance was outstanding and with a bit more luck, and some decent officating we would have won. My only concern is that against teams like Arsenal and Liverpool we may not have been able to get back in it. They have much better defenses and can close games down.

For now i'm very happy we've come through the first big match relatively unscathed. All they have to do is continue this performance on Tuesday and we'll go through at a canter.

Well done lads!!
