Cup holders v a National League North again! Tickets are on sale via AFC Telford, away supporters are in the Frank Nagington Stand if anyone fancies joining me there!

Wolves should present a bit more of a challenge than their Midlands neighbours West Brom. They've played 12, won 10 so far this season and only lost once with a goal difference of +30. For context, West Brom have lost 7 games and won 4 so far this season, with a goal difference of -7.

So a bit more of a challenge, but we should surely still have enough to avoid a major upset. I would expect a much more nervy evening though!

This is the 5th round, so win this and its on to the quarters and the business end of the tournament. There is one all-lower league tie between Portsmouth and Sunderland so the winners between those two would be nice to face next should we prevail.

I'm not a regular at the women's games but am gutted to be missing this one. Telford are my local side and I've been watching them for 30 odd years when United aren't playing (which obviously is a lot with our lack of Saturday games), so to see the women's side there would have been really cool. Unfortunately with the game being on the Saturday, I'll be watching Telford away so will miss it. That said, I know Wolves are pleased about the game being the Saturday so as to not clash with their men's FA Cup tie which is 12:30 on the Sunday.

They're pretty well supported and are hoping for as close to a sell-out as possible; the ground holds just over 5k nowadays rather than the 6k+ plus given online. The Nag (away end) holds circa 1200 iirc, United will also have a little section of the stand which is the other side of the players tunnel - so worth highlighting that it's not usually transferrable from standing to seating or vice versa.

Wolves did have the option to swap to Molineux which their staff and squad rejected as they feel that the Bucks Head (it is never, ever, ever the SEAH fecking Stadium) is their home and they'd be giving up home advantage playing elsewhere - I wouldn't be overly concerned, it's a very good pitch which should suit United's better players so as long as they keep the ball well Wolves will tire as the game goes on.

That's interesting insider information. Thanks.

Enjoy your trip to Alvechurch - wherever that is ;)
