After seeing Kerry put up poor performances against Clare & Limerick (both matches) and a good one against what was shown to be a poor Cork team, I thought Kerry would have it up against them.
It is the best Kerry performance since the early 80's and is a marker for what every other county has to achieve.
After watching that yesterday, to see the Gouch field so cleanly, the Kerry forwards win hard ball and defend against the Mayo backs, to see guys like Galvin bounce off people and Brosnin control the ball was a breath of fresh air compared to the dour shite that Ulster football has bestowed on the game.

I'm domiciled in the 'schmoke' so I couldn't get to the homecoming, the brother was on the phone a few times though and said it was crazy. Meanwhile I'm sat here with me tickets for all the games lined up in from of me and a few tufts I pulled off the pitch yesterday. For anyone who's never invaded Croker after a game, I strongly recommend it!
I'll be drying out for a while after yesterday - at least now I can get back to following United for the winter!
