David James - Despite all the shit he gets he is feckin class now and every time I've seen him this season he's made vital saves and IMO should definatley be Englands number 1.

Joe Cole - He's got everything, and I could go on all day but I personley think he's the best English midfielder in the country right now.

Trevor Sinclair - Phat player who's bang in form right now and is deffo a better choice on the left than Heskey

Michael Carrick - Not as good as Cole but would get in nearly any prem team

Paolo Di Canio - Class, needs a bigger stage - soon to get one (fingers crossed)

Jermaine Defoe - From what I've seen of him he should be right up there challenging for an England place.

Freddy Kanoute - Big, tall, strong, skillful class and with the right team would score and create goals for fun (as di canio would)

What Im trying to say is West Ham have got some really brilliant players, whilst were getting Di Canio why not get another Cole and a replacement for Yorke(kanoute)
Actually I needed a thread to say how much I rate Joe Cole but carry on ;)
 
J.Cole has improved a lot in this season. I won't say he is the best midfielder in this country now, as he still need to improve his final touch and stamina, but obviously he has huge potenial. He, Dyer and Gerrard will make the future of England midfield seems bright.

I did'nt say he was the best midfielder in the country. I said he was the best English one.
Gerrard has really fell flat on his face this year and it'll be hard for him to play like he has done previously now.
Has for Dyer, lets just say Id prefer to comment after the Newcastle game <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />
