I'm in Spain, and as I thought Deportivo shit all over Barcelona and it was great.

Do not think that they cannot be beaten in the CL however, because this year they are slightly worse than last.

With Valeron they are class, without him.......

It's cold and wet down South today - West Ham scrapping for the points; 30,000 neo-Nazis baying for Utd blood. If we turn up and play like a bunch of feckin' show ponies we'll get buried.

Roeder plans to make "one or two" defensive changes but the good news is that Kanoute's not in the squad - presumably injured. Lomas is doubtful but so what.

It wasn't a very good match.

Depor started well and should have scored the first five minutes. Then it was just a case of keep ball for Barca without creating anything. Very low tempo - there was no way they were about to score.

I feel good about this match. Don't know why but I feel we'll go out and trash them.

5-0, Ruud 2, Ole, Seba, Forlan
 
3-2, but it will be a terrible match, with veron and giggs loosing tons of balls, one lucky penalty maybe, but the most important is that we don't get another injury, it's becoming more and more concerning.
 
I'm going to Upton park to watch it, seeing that I'm a 'local' ;)

You can't ever write West Ham off. They have to be the best underperforming club in the premiership. I think Roeder will find it difficult to explain another home loss.

We will (hopefully) want to prove our critics wrong (and some people here) that last Saturdays game was a derby feck up and in isolation. But with no having no Becks again it will in my opinion not give us the oportunity to feed balls up and worry them enough. If we allow di canio see too much of the ball, I think we'll suffer.

But saying that. We have a good away form at the mo and they have a lousy home form, so hopefully we'll get a tight win.

veron's special is only available for viewing in the CL. he has a limited ability in the EPL and so a classic goal will probably not be seen.

i wouldn't bet against a scholes' special though ;)
