The very fact they need to issue a statement immediately after the incident, while the game is ongoing, shows how poor a decision it was. Doesn’t excuse our performance, but the reality is we have been shafted by someone who should not be refereeing

Hand on heart, worst VAR decision I can remember. I’m married to a West Ham supporter; she just saw the replay and said, “I don’t see how that could’ve possibly been awarded.”

And then we will have Van Nistelrooy who is part of the problem. We won't pay for comp for a current decent manager. I'd take a punt on Thomas Frank because we have missed the boat with Tuchel

But then you expect INEOS to pay off ETH and then buy out Frank's contract?

No. I'm saying his teams would have scored more so the bad desicion didn't matter.

This isn;t new, this si what football has always been, always a chance of a bad desicion going against you, thats why you buy players who can put the ball in the net when they get the chance.

We scored goals because we were good.

It's not like we scored more goals just as some kind of insurance against bad refs and if a bad ref decision fecked us out of a result, Fergie would just shrug and say, "no worries ref, it's on us to have scored more with the top players we have".

Horrible decision validated by a fecking coward of a ref
I hated how spineless Cootes looked. You could tell in his heart he knew he shouldn’t give it but he didn’t have the guts to object to Oliver’s decision. Cnuts all of them.

ETH needs to be sacked. There is no way 11 points in 9 games and he keeps his position. Just step down and go away with you load of cash already.

Dodgy pen & players missing sitters = free pass for yer man ETH, INEOS, Sir Jim & his band of merry men have spoken.

Had it been given in real time I’d have been annoyed, but I’d have understood how it could’ve possibly happened. VAR giving it is a travesty.

I said it many times, the var system is broken. All these refs do is protect their bros because it affects their bonuses. Mike Dean basically alluded to the collusion between refs.
It's right here in front of us, clear corruption

With Michael Oliver this was to be expected.
He hates us the most of all the crooked refs.

Yes but as a captain show some fight..show something instead of constant negativity
Yes for sure but it's Bruno we know what he's like, he carried us for large parts of last season and is likely to do so in what appears to be another mess of a season. Just don't want to pick anyone out when 80+ prevent of redcafe and a similar percent of the fanbase are wondering wtf.

I'm not surprised some of the players are now out of sorts... The whole season has been stupid imo why force all these intricate tactical plans that don't even fit the players or improve the output...

Why the needless rotation or playing players in suboptimal positions!?

    breath...

    /minirant over

Fernandes’s whole demeanour gets right on my tits. He’s got the fight of a weasel. Yes he can be brilliant but his negativity and bleating is not what I want to see in our captain. It’s a terrible optic

guys stop complaining about the pen.
1 point would have not been enough anyway.
We are just piss poor in every aspect of the game and deserve to be punished, even if it’s by an error decision

So we just sit back and accept everything that comes our way every week?

Anyone got the photo of Oliver drinking in the pub and wearing the Newcastle gear ??

    This is always done

Why is it every time I go for a win we lose? When I predict a loss we draw? If I were a gambler I’d be sleeping on a fecking park bench tonight.
Losing to West Ham this West Ham is the fecking final straw for me, this Cnut of a manager needs to go and sooner the better.

All this whining over a penalty. We're not in 14th by accident. We haven't been held to 8 goals in 9 games by a conspiracy. There's really only been three managers/teams good enough to win the Prem over the last six seasons and ETH/we are not among them. This squad could care less about sacrifice as long as they keep waking to an ETH practice. They do not respect him, they will not give their best for him. He hasn't created a system that can succeed in the Prem, he's in way over his head, the first season was the anomaly, Players want to leave the club and who can blame them? We lose to West Ham? I don't think these players are missing the net by accident.

But let's keep the dead weight for a few weeks longer, because well, what do we know about running a Prem club anyway?

And how he constantly blames everyone and everything but himself. He is the worst hire of all the hires post Fergie.

We didn’t put away the chances we had. Simple. Not getting the constant moaning of the penalty. This was self-inflicted. While ETH should go, I thought he set up the team quite well today. We need some natural finishers.

This season is gone anyway unless a new manager arrives soon.
