A win and we're 2 points off the the league leaders, which considering our terrible start would be fantastic. But these are typically those '2 step back' games against a team there should be no excuses for.

I feel like it''ll be a frustrating draw but then you also never know which United will turn up.

Im all for resting players like Bruno, Rashford and AWB, but please no James, Lingard or Mata.
Have no problem with the first 2 with their energy and I’d only have Mata aa long as Bruno plays with him. 2 intelligent players.

    All 3? No

Great chance to move up the table today. Come on United!
    Must get the 3 points...

I hope mark noble starts and gets absolutely twated. Sick of us drawing or losing to these hammers. Time to get some much need points on the board and send Moyes wanting.

Not a favoured starter these days though. Soucek and Rice usually are the pair

Got a bad feeling Bruno is getting a rest and Pogba is gonna start.

Won 5 of their last 8. Just 1 defeat in that time and it was against Liverpool. Run includes draws against City and Spurs and a win against Leicester.

Also won their last 3. We shouldn't be taking this lightly.

    I remember that last match.
The one over-riding memory was that before that match, I'd never heard of their ground being called the Boleyn ground. Ever.
I can't remember what it is actually called, but it definitely wasn't Boleyn.

    So true.
    We have no consistency.
    Upton park.

Very fortunate to win those home games. Fulham and Villa played very well and only two missed penalties saved them. We’d never take them lightly. Moyes usually has teams organised against better opponents

Be negative about everything and you will feel good when proven right.
Be negative about everything and be happy when the team wins
Kind of the idea I reckon. I really don't want to be negative but it's just a feeling about this game. Based on basically nothing mind you.

I saw a leak that James and Lingard are starting. That would be hilarious.

Yet Moysie is a terrible manager

Comes all the way down to kids football, they want the manager to be showing "Passion". Doesnt matter about tactics, man-management, growth, or anything else. As long as the manager is on the side line showing passion.

Football is a game of passion. Ask any top coach and they will tell you. Especially SAF.
They may not be giving tactical instructions, which is almost impossible but positionally coaches can and do correct mistakes that are happening on the field. When the greatest of managers do it there must be something to it otherwise non of the top managers would have done it, nor would be doing it now.

I am still trying to understand how they managed to beat Villa. If Villa had won that game by 3 goals, it would have been a fair more accurate result

Historically under Ole, these are the sort of games where we come almost close and throw it away.
We are a good side, but as a norm these days not keeping my hopes up. We've lost to far worse teams and far worse managers before.

I am surprised Noble doesn't start - he always is brilliant against us

Bruno decided to put himself on the bench? :wenger:
Ffs, double shit. First and most important; he is 50% of this squad.
Second; he is my fantasy captain ffs!
