It has been confirmed that Wes Brown has broken his ankle.
Wes went over awkwardly on his right ankle in the sixth minute of United's 1-0 Champions League defeat against Zalagaerszegi and was immediately replaced by Phil Neville.
Wes went for a scan on Thursday and it showed up a break in the bone.
Wes is expected to be out of action for around three months. It's the latest in a run of injuries for the England full-back, who ruptured his cruciate ligament in pre-season training three years ago.
Get well soon, Wes.
