Leeds need cash more than anything. And doesn't Wenger need to spend his 10mil on a CB and GK more than a LW/FWD. Wenger is pushing the price up.

Anyway Kewell will be a big loss for Leeds; its not like they will have the money to replace him with a player of similar quality.

U wud never know what happens in football. Personaly I think Kewell will choose Arsenal over Utd for two reasons.
1. To save himself from the abuse of the leeds fans.
2. His girlfriend who is a london born actress prefers to stay in london.

But like I said u will never know what happens until its done.

If this was an auction where the highest bidder must buy the player, just imagine the scenario if Wenger's main intention is to push the price up - Utd counters with £7 mil, Wenger with £8 mil, then Utd goes in at £9 mil, then Arsenal goes in at £10 mil, then Utd says "OK! We'll go for Ronaldinho then - you can have him!"

Wenger ends up paying Leeds £10 mil for Kewell, who demands £60,000 per week, which in turn upsets Pires who leaves, which angers Vieira who says Arsenal has no ambition, & Arsenal ends up also losing Vieira, the board uses the sales proceed as downpayment for the stadia & to pay off debts, stating Wenger's used up his £10 mil transfer kitty & Wenger ends up with a beautiful new stadia only ready in 2006 & a reliance on the same back-line minus Keown which destroyed Arsenal's 2003 Season!
