United aren't our main title rivals: Wenger

Arsene Wenger does not believe Manchester United will be Arsenal's main challengers for the Premiership title.

Wenger's side lost 2-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday, but the Arsenal manager is still not convinced of United's title credentials.

And Wenger, who has taken Arsenal to two championships either side of a United hat-trick, attributed his side's defeat to defensive errors.

'I would not say United will necessarily be our main rivals for the title this year. I was not especially impressed by them on Saturday,' he said.

'If you look at the possession and number of shots on goal, nothing was really produced by either side.

'The only difference was we made two big mistakes which led to goals. United didn't.

'That result was a boost for United but we are still top of the league so it was only a warning for us.'

Wenger is seemingly obsessed by us at the moment.

I would say

Having seen Arsenal against United and Valencia, they are not worthy of the tag 'greatest team that have ever exsisted ever..... ever' which the press was so keen to give them after 2 matches this season.

United have shown excellent effort and team spirit in the last 4 games, lets hope they continue on Saturday against them appy ammers.
 
Wenger is such a poof.. i can't believe he won't give credit to United for turning it around. If he thinks that, how many does he think we would have beaten them by if we had our full team out and played to our offensive ability.

First I thought that he was just blind, but now its becoming quite clear that he's a freaking idiot. He's clearly rattled, thought he had the best team in the world, had visions of going unbeaten the whole season, winning the treble, and then he walks into the theatre of dreams and gets smacked around. Now what does he do, he's bought pretty much the entire the French National team, and started believing in some kind of shift of power theory. Even last year when we were not at our best, we beat ourselves more than getting beat by the Wanker Boyz. Wanker it dont matter if you were not impressed by us, cause at the end of the day the only thing that does matter is that we still kicked your booty all over tha place... :) :)
 
Let Wenger have his fun, after all we know there's only one superstar treble-winning manager in the country, and it isn't him.

I am not surprised he is talking us down, his team must have taken a right knock to the confidence when we hammered them.

He must have thought he'd broken us last season winning at OT, rather like we broke Arsenal for a couple of years after the FA Cup Semi replay. Looks like he's underestimated us, and is still in that mindset - to which I say, great, keep it up!

Teams tend to reflect their manager and SAF's passion was clear to see in every united player on saturday - tha same was true for the Arse, passionless manager and a passionless team. He is an amateur when it comes to the mindgames as well. When he said at the start of the season that they would go unbeaten all he did was turn every other supporter in the land against them. No one should be stupid enough to think that they can not lose for a whole season and as soon as he said it every premiership player in the land started thinking that they could be the one to stick his arogant prediction where it belonged. Shift in power - he wishes.
