Believe in the team...
Arsenal will go through a bad patch soon...
Remember when we came back from 12 points down to Newcastle, to go and win the title, everything's possible...
Next few matches will be VITAL....

ps. I'm now a 'First Team Player' Wheyyy!!! :D

It really is a good thing that the team don't give up as easily as 'fans' like you.

May be he's just realistic. We still have chances, but Arsenal are better placed. If we lose today, then he will be right.

You'll be demanding a refund on all the official merchandise you bought next.

What's up with you, dude? Confidence crisis? Lack of will power? Lack of belief in yourself? What makes you think that our players will give in without a fight from this point on? They will not give up until the last point is to be played for. We are very much in it. And will be there in it when it counts in May next. Hallelujah. We'll bring back the Holy Grail to Old Trafford.

Newcastle were more than 7 pts ahead and we pulled them back.
The Arsenal team at the moment and the Newcastle team of 95/96 are actually quite similar. And before gillespie et al start screaming and shouting read and think about it.

Both play very attractive football going forward and have the capacity to score 3 or 4 every game. The players to get goals from nothing. Asprilla/Ginola - Pires/Bergkamp. A striker who will score 30 a season Ferdinand scored 29, Henry will be close to 30. Strong tackling midfielder Batty - Vieria.

Both have a weakness in defence. Both defences are/were short of pace especially in the middle. Albert - Cygan/Keown.

Both are prone to laspes in confidence. Newcastle in March/April. Arsenal looked seriously short of confidence in October/November.

7 pts may be a gap but it can be overturned in a week or so.

Me scream and shout ??...now come on !However, let's deal with your comparison.I'm not sure it's valid. For 2 reasons primarily.....Newcastle weren't Champions...we are.Secondly, your team then was,in my view, considerably better than the one you have now.But time will tell ;)

No way!
Only arse fan could think that way. It`s no wonder.

May 2003 is our time to lift up The Premiership trophey, The European Cup,and The FA Cup.

Probably we`ll be kind-hearted and give u The Worthsomething Cup as a consolation prise.I bet u`ll be crying for your mummies. ;)

You seem to have resorted to shallow insults so i'll attempt to get the thread back on track.

1) So what if Newcastle weren't champions. Last season has gone. Its history
2) At full strength, which we haven't been for the past 3 months, I think our starting 11 is as good as it was in 96.

I notice you avoided dealing with the comparisons I actually made between The Newcastle team of 96 and the current Arsenal team. I presume you recognise the fact that there might be more than a passing resemblence.
