'tis a silly place
His damaged shoulder will keep him out for six weeks, so on Monday he will say goodbye to his Watford teammates and head back to OT.
This from the Watford manager

"Danny's spell with us is finished now. His loan period is almost over and he will come in and say goodbye to us on Monday. He has been magnificent for us and I will be sorry to see him go. He will be welcome back here any day. He is a nice lad as well as a top-quality professional. His injury will keep him out for a minimum of six weeks and United would say no to letting us have him on a long-term loan."

I feel sorry Danny. He was having a fantastic few months over there and to have it cut short is really a blow. Still, he will have gained good experience from this and hopefully he will see a bit of action at OT in the few weeks before the transfer deadline. I'd like to see him have another loan spell somewhere after January if we wont get any more games for United. However that last quote interests me, why would United reject giving him a bigger loan move? Obviously SAF has seen what he's down for Watford and rates him.
