'tis a silly place
Danny's straight in to Watford's squad to play Millwall on Tuesday, in a three-month deal. He scored two goals in five games while there last season.

Might as well make it a permanent move. Seems he wont see the light of day at OT anytime soon.

Don't think so. It would be worth playing the next gen (Timm, Stewart, Djordjic etc.) in the FA Cup next year imo, alongside some of the established first-teamers.

Stewart: Yes. He's already a first-team player. I expect 20+ games for him this season (sub performances included).

Djordjic, Timm, Fletcher, etc: Only if they are tested in the Premiership before.

I think we must take the Cup as serious as the league. I.e. only if a player is considered good enough to play against the likes of Southampton in the league should he be considered for the Cup.

I'll be happy if Stewart gets about 5 starts and around 10 sub appearances. The early rounds of the Cup should be used as a chance to give those looking for a game a go. We haven't come close to winning the Cup in three seasons, we might as well put it to good use.

Same here, but I never dared to say it.
:p
But he's better than Wallwork in the centre of the park anyday.

Richardson looks a good prospect though.

Stewart looks to me to be always wanting the ball, which is a good sign. He definitely has the right mentality, but he needs to push up to another level. I hope he can get some games too.

He'll only get to another level if he gets the games, same with Webber who I think will do very well at Watford and hopefully will have a future at Ot. I've only seen him play twice on the telly but he had great skill and looked a real prospect but how do you get a chance when Ruud/Ole/forlan and possibly Crespo are ahead of you?

Most players need experience and I wouldn't be surprised if some reserve players are loaned out to lowe league clubs in division 1, 2 and maybe 3. As Lou Macari said on a show, it is better than playing in the reserves week in week out. Some players go to Royal Antwerp and that is even better as it has shown in a few players.
