Excuse any slurred spelling but being serious now...if you really want to "put an end to this gay internet war thing", then dont you understand banning and deleting everything in sight wont actually do that?

It just makes things worse, and to be frank with you it makes it look like you're threatening people into posting what you want them to post, no questions or your out, no whining out your out, that is a pretty broad tact to take. How is it anything but intimidating for most? Afterall, this is just the internet, and people will just simply leave, and this place will get less and less busy and the quality of poster, considering that most people who question things or the site are those who spend enough time here to see stuff go on outside of the Football forum are usually the 'core' posters, will just go into a complete decline. As you've already seen, this happened with Andy, Slabber, Wobbly et al. Try listening once in a while, maybe.

Just a friendly observation.

VN, I think the issue is more about the fact that the posters in question had no useful inputs to the caf since the ********'s formation and were usually found here trying to slag off any mod in sight or to wind-up Weaste(which is rather ironic because ut seems Weaste's become the biggest wind up for them...mention his name and they go bonkers).

They won't be missed.
 
Van, i thought my previous warnings were fairly clear for everyone. What people do on other sites is up to them, but if any shit stirring happens here over a certain issue that we're all fed up to the back teeth over, theyre out. I expressly told everyone that patience would be low for continuing this sillyness coming into the new footy season, when we have enough scousers, arsenal fans, ABU's and Gillespie to deal with. I believe that some banned last night were only temporary, i stayed out of it because i was just off a very annoying flight, had a long day and was in a bad mood. I did however have a quick scan on the other site and whilst i have said what happens there stays there, it appears that some are still taking part in the 'lets see how we can get banned' game to impress their e-mates.
 
I think it's more than fair - it has been quite obvious the last week that some old users spend all their time on RC without posting - but when some of their e-buddies post a complain-thread the old posters pops out like an arrow just to have a swing at the mods.

Quite sad actually.
 
I don't see what's so hard to understand here....if anyone doesn't like Redcafe, it's Mods or rules, then find somewhere else to post.

What goes on on other forums should stay there as it's nothing to do with Redcafe.

If people choose to contribute positively to Redcafe and post on another forum, all the better.

Those that can't and post only to cause disruption will be banned.

To be fair though Noods, and you know I'm someone who agreed with your stance on this whole thing from the start, Weaste does go a bit mental and just escalate the 'gay internet war' thing reasonably regularly, doesn't he?
If he calmed down himself and stopped having mouth-frothing fits about the other place, I'm sure that'd help things to calm down.

...and it would also help achieve that goal if someone would stop them posting the picture of his child which somone has mocked up. Someones kids shouldnt be used as banter fodder IMHO
 
I suggest Van re-reads the first post here.We are making people post what we agree with or they are out?He is suggesting if people cannot post what they like they will leave-trying to intimidate us into altering the rules Van?
People leave this site everyday-there are very few posters here now who were here when I joined-people come and go and the site survives-post within the rules or leave-end of.Noone is of any real importance here-except maybe that Irish bloke who pays the bills.

I'm certainly not suggesting that there are dicks over there too. Didn't the kid thing start with Weaste inviting someone to post on this site so he could 'take the piss out of their children' though?
Basically it's pretty clear that the way the ** thing took off, with Weaste in charge and then pushed out has left him incredibly bitter about it, and he takes any opportunity to take a swipe at them. (and as I said, I know there are people on there who do the same thing). As a mod on here, he really could do with displaying a modicum of control over himself.

I'm not bitter about it at all.

I'm just fed up of people coming in here, creating drama threads all over the show, and poaching our users. If people want to continue to act like cocks, I'll treat them as such.

I reckon if you stopped being sissies about R.R, stopped the censoring of the words, stopped the bitchiness, unbanned all of those banned from there, then you would give them no guise or justification to be idiots or stir on here.

If they continue to shit stir or allegedly do some techy attack or something after that, then ban them. I just reckon some sort of amnesty would put an end to all this daft oneupsmanship, as i've said, I think that place alone isnt enough without the base of posters on this place, and vice versa, that this place isnt good as it could be without the core posters over there.

If this place makes the first move then at least you can say you tried if they continue to act like gimps...which I dont actually think they will.

And I am having a go at a sad nerdy schoolboy who acts like an utter cnut on the internet. Where he acts like that is irrelevant to me. Here, ** or anywhere else. Cuntery of such a high order deserves some e-pointing and e-laughing.

I want ** to thrive, just as I did when it started, in order to keep the excesses away from here. If only it could be kept away from here.

I even like many of the members, even if a few I like have lost their minds, and a few others never had one.
