Why would you buy a console which is inferior to the 360, over-priced, has no good games, and comes built in with a Blu-Ray player which you don't need?

They will probably end up releasing the 80GB model in Europe soon anyway, so best just to hang on.
60GB US/Jap launch models are the definitive versions.

If so, why not just pick up the 40GB console, all you're losing is the BC for PS2 games and the card readers, still a superb console for £299, is it really worth all that extra cash just for the BC?

never bought anything from there as i dont live in america and i also like warranties.
buy it from your dumb cousin or friend on the cheap.
PS2's busted and believe it or not....I really like the silver chrome finish on the 60gb/80gb models...dont like the paint job on the 40gb models.
