If you lose 8 games in the league, you really don't deserve to win the league. That is a fact. I'm actually ok with us not winning it this season. I mean last season, I don't care what people say, winning the league was almost a disappointment because we have done it so often - it didn't have the same magic as the treble season because everyone last season was saying...hey yes...we won the league but what about the European Cup??? I think next season the fans will be much more vocal and determined as will the team to take back the league as we were in the treble season. Arsehole Winger thinks that his team will now dominate the League for as long as United has...well if that isn't motivation enough for Fergie and the team I don't know what is. Hey, lets raise our glasses to Arseholes this season...because they aren't getting it next season....."there's no doubt about that" as Fergie would say. I hope we don't get rid of Veron...he really will come good. You can't expect a world class player to adjust to our league in one season. His touches have been amazing, and I think next season he will be so determined to prove people wrong that he will probably be named as United Player of the year. HOwever..I do think we need some big names in defence...nothing i attack. Ruud is the best striker we have signed in years...and is young...and will get better and better. But watch out for next season, because I bet he doesn't score as many as he did this season. Its always the case that forwards are found out and have to find new ways to strike goal. But watch out for his assists next season, they will sky rocket...:-)
