Was he always this bad? I honestly thought we had signed an absolute diamond when he first arrived and he was brilliant for a good while.
But now? Has he just given up? Still the occasional brilliant pass…with 99 bad ones.
Seems like he’s dropped off a cliff and really needs a while on the bench to think about his place in a TEAM.

He's a very good player, not one you build a team around especially if you want to improve ball possession.
He was fine in an Ole team, not good enough for out current philosophy (whatever that is).

All he does is create. There’s no build-up, there’s no nuance, there’s no ability to pass a man, there’s not really much defensive ability (despite his insane stamina). Even the goalscoring ability has gigantically dropped off. It’s just constant killer passes to create chances.

For some people, that’s enough. I don’t think it’s been enough for a while now.
