I think we should make a move for Vinnie Jones by bringing him out of retirement. He would be the ideal replacement when Roy Keane leaves. He has the leadership and strength to lead us forward. Any takers?

Anything that might take the talentless cnut off our screens is welcome.

Vinny Jones was also very good in "Euro Trip" which also (and very oddly) featured Matt Damon.

fecking hell I didn't read the date of the OP at first.

There is something strangely likeable about Vinnie Jones. And thats something I never thought I would say. Ever since I saw Snatch where he played that enforcer I've warmed to him.

Snatch & The Condemned are his 2 best films

Loved Vinnie back in the day. A real hard arse. In his prime, I'd take him in our current squad to teach our new Jones  Just not the rest of the baggage he brought with him please...

Looking on Wiki, I didn't realize he had so many caps for Wales (9). That early 90s/mid 90s team was the best shot Wales had to a World Cup berth. Or Euro for that matter.

Always love an excuse to post this picture:

Didn't someone like Keane once say Jones was full of it, he'd go round making two footed tackles on young players but then bottle it when faced with Robson, Ince, Hughes or Keane? Can't remember where I read that.
