Just watched Clerks II, after seeing all his other films, and reminded me by seeing Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back on TV the other night.

All his films in the Askew Universe (with recurring chars etc) are cool as hell. The characters always seem to be perfectly done. Randal from Clerks is probably one of the best (Barring Jay).

Anyone else here a fan of his films?

If any of you haven't seen them before, you should watch them all, start with Clerks (the first) and work your way through them in proper order, you don't really need to but it's probably best!

Love em

Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent bob etc.

Havent seen clerks II yet though funnily enough.

I've only seen Clerks II, Jay & Silent Bob strike back and Dogma from him, but I enjoyed all of em very much.

Just watched them all again quite recently for some odd reason. While Clerks II had more laughs in it Clerks is still my favourite Kevin Smith film. Love Mallrats as well.

Jay and Silent Bob strike back was a bit too much for me, I can just about handle them in cameos but a whole film based around them doesn't really work.

Dogma and Mall Rats are my two favourites. One's just toilet jokes, "he tried to f*ck me somewhere very uncomfortable" " what, the back of a volkswagen?", and the other was a bit deeper, not much but a bit. And Jay and Silent Bob are at their sidekick best in those two films.

Chasing Amy was crap
Never seen Jersey Girl
Mallrats and Jay & Silent Bob are my favourites.
Clerks was ok but would have been much better if in colour, B&W spoils it.
Dogma is decent, as is Clerks 2
