Although I am not a Leeds fan, I have high regards on this guy ... strong ...can control the ball well ... good passer.

I am not surprise someone will fork out that amount of money for him.

The same source confirms that Capello is nearly for sure at Barca next year ;)

He's worth about 6m.

He should be purchased for no more than 8m.

He's overrated, big time.

kin good business by the sheep if it's true though. Cnuts.

I was at the Blackburn game and yet again he worked so hard off the ball....he does look lazy and overweight at times but he is not a player I want to see leave.
He does need to score more goals though and now we have have players back from suspensions and injury hopefully DOL will vary our attack a bit more.

What Vids had to say......

VIDUKA HAPPY WITH LEEDS LIFE
by Chris Bargh

UNITED striker Mark Viduka, delighted to have escaped an FA ban on Thursday, today insisted he was happy to stay at Leeds in the wake of speculation linking him with a big money move abroad in the summer.

The 26 year old Australian, who was the subject of similar rumours at the same stage of last season, promised United fans that he was perfectly settled at Elland Road and that he'd heard nothing of any reported transfer to Spain or Italy, where Deportivo La Coruna, AS Roma and AC Milan have been touted as possible destinations.

Mark told www.leedsunited.com : "I've said all along that I'm very happy here.

"There was a lot of speculation this time last year and nothing came of it and as I said then it would have to be an offer I can't refuse for me to leave.

"There is always going to be speculation at this time of the season. It is the time when clubs make plans to change their teams, but there is a really long way from being linked to other clubs to actually moving.

"I like being here in England. I like Leeds and being part of this team and to be honest I don't feel like moving anywhere. I live near the club, my girlfriend likes it here, and my two dogs are settled too and they're Scottish!!"

Mark also admitted he and Alan Smith had feared the worst when they attended the FA disciplinary hearing in London on Thursday.

He said: "It was a good day for the club, myself and Smithy because we can now play in the rest of the games this season.

"I didn't know what to expect as I'd heard that not many people get off, so the decisions came as a big relief.

"For Smithy, who has high hopes of going with England to the World Cup in the summer, it is a big bonus to be able to play the rest of the season.

"He is a great young player, who has a big future at this club and for England, and I hope he gets into the squad. It will be a great shame if he doesn't go to the World Cup
