I thought this season Veron is OK
He was bad only in some matches Villa,City, and Fulham. But then there are so many other culprits..
Now a days he is not getting the stick just bcos he scores goals.U can't expect midfielders to score goals that too palying from back.
He has to support Scholes and Forwards thats what he is doing .He form in Eroupe as always excellent.Even in Off days
he had provided good balls for RVN and Ole.
As i had mentioned some where else in this forum
he accuracy from 25-30 yards is incredible.
If Veron moves up we are getting goals

Figo and Veron almost played similar roles
for Barca and Lazio
Look what has happened to Figo.
Former world player of the year.he was the best
player for Barca when Real bought him for a huge Sum.

Now Real with Zidane,Combiasso,Makalele Solari in
midfield they tried to use him as a winger.
For the past two seasons he is a total flop.
Till now he is showing no signs of improvement only scoring from penalties...80% mispasses consistently in every match..,poor crosses and corners.Real after paying him so much are in two
minds keep him or dump him

Now look at Veron.Italian football is all about tactics.here its about winning the ball.
Look in one season how well he has adapted that
too in a unfamiliar position.

If u compare Veron and Figo its easy to say Veron is not a flop.Figo did'nt even move to some other League.he is struggling in Laliga.

But Veron had adapted superbly.
We should give him some credit.

hmmmmm
yeah i agree......
i always had faith in him, it was just a matter of time

WEll said I totally agree with u, Veron has been very good this season he just needs some confidence and support from other players and not constant yelling from players(Keano) <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

I also agree. I've never been a Veron fan until about a month ago. He seems just now to be coming to terms with the speed of the English game.
He's always wanted too long on the ball, and has been a useless tackler. he's improving though.
In Keano and Becks absence he's been running the games, and others (eg Phil Neville) have been fitting in well around him.
Don't think Keano's an automatic choice in the first team at the moment.

Seba's performance is better than last season, but that is not enough IMO (especially now when Keano's come back)
