After watching the Man Utd vs Arsenal match,I was thinking about Veron and Beck's position in Man Utd.As a result of mine,I think that Veron and Beck shall not playing in the same match togather,it has been a season past but I never found Veron perform well until the match vs Arsenal(The Point is Beck didn't play in that match). This might because Veron's position and Beck's 1 doesn't match well enough and Man Utd will always takes Beck as the Offence centre during the match.Veron couldn't play conffidently in the games. With 1 quesiton : Is it suitable to let Veron play in the games which Beck plays in in the same time.Perhaps I do not think about future time,as now on I suggest that Beck and Veron has to be separated right this period to secure this season's games and so the UEFA Champions.I am please to read u guyz opinion here.

Despite feeling after dizzy a little reading that.... ;)

My ideal Midfield at the moment would be

442 Giggs, Keane, Veron, Beckham (only formation that allows for Ole, when everyone is fit)

4231 Phil Keane (behind)Giggs, Scholes, Becks

4411 Giggs, Keane, Scholes, Beckham (behind) Veron

IMHO

:D

Note that despite some fantastic performances I still wouldnt play Phil in Midfield unless I had too - sorry phil :(

Got to be 4-4-2 then ;)

Your observation Zheng is spot on for the fact that Veron has performed very well against Arsenal. It so happens that David Beckham did not play that match.

However, your conclusion is not consistent. Beckham and Veron have played a number of games last season and even this season, most notably in Europe. And Veron has been great in Europe for us.

I don't think that Veron and Beckham are antithesis to each other. They have the same roles in being creative. But, their creativity does not have anything that should clash. Their partnership can be likened in more than one way that which is being fostered at Real Madrid between Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane.

Veron and Beckham can play together and will do so very successfully.

I remember earlier this season in Europe in fact, Beckham and Veron linked up for Verons superb chipped goal

Sorry mate but you can't leave Paul Scholes out, he is one of the best midfielders in the world, second best at the club only to Keane.
