I thought he was excellent. He was controlling the game and wanting the ball the whole time. He looked great.

Then they scored, and it all went Pete Tong....

Up until their second goal, we were running the show. They kept on giving the ball away and we were passing it around brilliantly. The City fans were getting restless. Then we gave them back the initiative.

We were just starting to run the show whan Gaz unuxplainably did what he did. After that we were bolloxed

When we need to change the game with a killer ball, why the feck did SAF take veron off and leave Phil on?? I know he's one of the few midfielders who can tackle, but he didn't do that.
People are judged by the decisions they make and SAF is getting it wrong again and again. Any team that plays Phil in the centre of midfield is asking for trouble.

Cos Veron was utterly absent - not the first time he's been subbed either, seems to happen every game.

Veron was crap from the start. And he aint gonna get much better. His price tag is falling every time he plays. got to get rid of him asap. Cause he will be worthless in 2 years. :(
I bet he has a blinder next week, because i wrote this.

Totally agree.

I was watching with my father and a few mates. He hates Veron with a passion. Apart from a few weak passes I thought he started well, and I was defending him (At 1-1 I think I said something like "I'll accept your apology when he picks up the MOM").

The rest is history :(

Veron seems to be the type of player that needs time and space, and he's never going to get that in the Premier League - especially in a derby match. I've defended Veron since he got to OT, but I think that now it's time to admit that we are never going to see the best of him. :(

I've heard they're looking for a new Dr. Who....
