Veron did not appear in Soccernet's Best eleven

Instead, it was Carrick with his lucky goal against Blackburn.

the same match i think :D
but i mean i would expect more from him

Soccernets 11 of the week is so ABU it hurts. A unied player either has to score a wonder goal or win a match on his own to get in. Its a bullshit feature tbh

As biased I am about United and our players, I have to agree with this!

what the feck is soccernet ???
lots of sunday papers publish the 'best 11' and they're all rubbish.
i read about 5 papers reports of the united game vs. birmingham on saturday. 2 failed to mention veron at all (apart from reference to becks running on to his pass), 1 said seba had a good game, and the other 2 marvelled at his performance. just shows what shite many of the footy journalists are.
i was at the game, and veron's display was awesome. i'm sure it mightn't have looked that way from 6,000 miles away in hong kong, but veron's growing with every game.
i was not a veron fan at all last season, or early this season, but over the last 6 or so home games I've been at, he's been outstanding - everything in midfield goes through him.
he's benefitted immensely from keane + beckham's absences, and he's top dog in midfield at present.
he's still not the best tackler, but his brain and vision are 'out-of-this-world'. I'd have loved to see him in the same team as eric in his pomp, and teddy sheringham.
anyway terry369, you're talking a load of rubbish.
i get the feeling that seba's gradually growing in the estimation of most of the OT audience.
stuff the ABU press, we can see with our own eyes !!!!!! <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Those website only choosed players who scored goals, defending until bleeding, booked and a no name goalkeeper who appeared in the camera more than his other teammates.
