What would you do? Should he be moved down the order? And if so, who opens for us?

Maybe you think he should be dropped outright?

It was a damn shame i thought that Strauss went so early, he needed the time out there and appeared to be finding the beginnings of some of his old form returning too.

To be honest, might as well leave him in, since we didn't take Mal Loye to the world cup we don't have any different options, all we'd do is replaced a slow struggling walking wicket for another slow struggling walking wicket. Might as well keep him for captaincy purposes. Sad really

GG, I've been subjeccted to a constrant stream of English cricketing shite, mostly at abnormal times to the detriment of the entire rest of my life, so famd bloody right I'm negative!

And while I jest, take Bell, Mahmood, Flintoff, Strauss and Bopara's average over the one day matches these last couple of months, and I tell you, I'm probably not too far off the mark!

If vaughan isn't dropped or placed down the order,it will show how pathetic the heirachy that is the england management really is.We will never improve if people can't admit mistakes and try to change things for the good of the team,and that includes other players too like mahmood only good on bouncy wickets,and carp on others.Strauss should be opening with bell then pietersen coming in at 3.Apologies if i sound so pessimistic vaughan did score a little 30 but by no means does our opening attack look like building a good total and we are too conservative and never look like getting anywere near 300 which we will need to take on the best teams.
 
I would definately agree with pushing Vaughan down. Theres no point in him playing shit at the top of the order, might as well do it towards the end.

I agree his bowling isn't upto much and we could fill his overs with a combination of colly and bell maybe k.p.Bopora is more renowned for his batting and that begs the question then who is better joyce or bopara and i'd have to say joyce when batted in his middlesex position.Shame the management hate shah.
