Are you trying to say that because PSV is not a massive club like Madrid or Milan (I know PSV are a big club but not on the same scale) we should have paid less??

Seeing as this is a thread about Ruud, I feel i need to vent a bit of frustration (i apologise in advance)
Why isn't he stronger on the ball?? He's over 6 foot, probably about 14 stone and he constantly gets pushed off it.
I know he's not in the greatest form in front of goal at the moment as the last 2 games have proved and i can accept that, every striker goes through a spell when whatever you do the ball just doesn't seem to go in. Fair Enough. But i would like to see a little bit more fight in his play. He needs to be stronger on the ball, push the defenders around. Look at Alan Shearer, yes i know most of the people in here hate him, but his scoring record speaks for itself. Over 150 premiership goals ahead of anyone else. He very rarely gets muscled off the ball. Okay you concede a few more free kicks but you also get more chances.
Schevchenko in Italy is the same, if the defender is going to get the ball off him they have to work fecking hard for it.
He's a fantastic player and if he could just add that to his game there wouldn't be a striker in the world to touch him
