Lets hope the Van Nis, is fit tonight lads, otherwise we will struggle, I’m not sure why but Ole never seems to stamp the same mark on a game that he starts. Forlan, I’m afraid is still struggling, I accept that it a whole new style, culture etc – and that he is still very young, but can we afford to keep showing patienc?e, personally I’m not comfortable, the one major mistake we made this summer, was failing to purchase a quality forward, in my mind we should never of got rid of Andy Cole, did we need the £7m? - I very much doubt it, why sell a top class forward, with a premiership record second only to Alan Shearer, really for nothing? – Cole always guaranteed 20+ goals a season, and with Becks and Giggs popping balls into him, would of managed the same again.

Who should we have bought last season? – one man was right in our faces.

Crespo!

Lazio owe us cash, Lazio fans also adore Veron! – we need a world class centre forward and Crespo surely fits the bill, why was business not concluded? – to late now as he has moved on.

I am praying that we will get the cheque book out, come the January transfer window, ideas?

Let me start the ball rolling with:

Shevchenko (I dream – he would be my number one)
Kluivert (has dreams of playing in the prem, and would be an ideal partner for Van, knowing him from playing for Holland)
Christie (a good one for the future, fast, would offer another option- has to be cheap at a skint relegated Derby)

We definitely need another striker - I'm with Raoul on this and would like Cisse, but not Kluivert under any circumstances thanks.

As for Ole, well as you say, he never stamps the same mark on a game when he starts, and as he has only averaged just under 4 goals a year as sub. since he joined us, I don't really know why we keep him at all.
