think even if it's true ... he will be behind the queue for 2 strikers ..
I like what I have seen of this guy.
Seems to play with a real fire in his eyes. Also good to have at set pieces as he is no stranger to heading in corners and free kicks.
If we can get him at 24 years old for £7 million or less, that would be good business IMO.
Add escude £4 million, and at least 1 top class striker, and that will be that for the summer.
Maybe...... possibly...... perhaps.

Daniel van Buyten is quoted in the Daily Express as saying that Manchester United have opened talks with Marseille over a summer move to Old Trafford.
The £5million-rated defender has been repeatedly watched by United, according to the paper.
"If Marseille give their consent to a transfer, I wouldn't say no," says van Buyten, who is also reported to be wanted by Newcastle.

Do we really need two more defenders? I would be surprised if Escude comes in now O'Shea is obviously going to be a regular.
I think Escude will still come in, we are still a bit think as far as full backs go and I see JOS more on the right than left, I havent seen much of DVB, I would prefer we land Mexes myself but DVB sounds like he has a real presence about him and that can only be a good thing.
