United in van Buyten talks - report
Daniel van Buyten is quoted in the Daily Express as saying that Manchester United have opened talks with Marseille over a summer move to Old Trafford.
The £5million-rated defender has been repeatedly watched by United, according to the paper.
"If Marseille give their consent to a transfer, I wouldn't say no," says van Buyten, who is also reported to be wanted by Newcastle.

"For the moment, the contacts are done at club level", declared the Marseille defender in an interview published Tuesday, specifying, "there are proposals which you do not refuse ".
Daniel Van Buyten, who asserted himself in Marseille's defence by scoring goals, does not hide his will of playing in a higher level championship other than the French competition, quoting Italy and Spain. "If I remain here too long, I would end up having a bitter taste in my mouth", he added.
