'tis a silly place
Are Arsenal still interested in him? I heard he was a cert for them back when Vieira was on the verge of leaving.

Is it true he could do the box-to-box job? Have heard some good things about him, and he's young (24 or 25 I think).

Im not sure of his age but he is a fantastic player, he is very box to box, scores some nice goals from range too from time to time.

He's not really planning to move. He just became father of twins and his babyboy isn't doing very well I believe. (he was operated on his groin I believe)

There are some things going on about the transfermoney when he would decide to move, but it's not sure he will.

He's a great player but like all PSVplayers he hasn't proven himself on an international level. He's doing quite alright in the national team although he has some problems with Davids.
His skills are quite known. Great leadercapacities, good footyskills, great view on the game...
I think he could be great for MU in the combination with Ruud in the centre and van Bommel on the midfield.

If he has any kind of ambition he'll move abroad within two years. If it's a new engine our midfield needs he could be the man.

He scored 4 goals yesterday , not bad for a defensive midfielder!

He is not really our defensive midfielder. Certainly not yesterday.
We played with a block of Van der Schaaf and Vogel as the defensive ones and van Bommel assisted the guys up front.
That worked really well.

The game was terrific, just like van Bommel.
I'll see if I can find some movieclips of yesterdays game. It might give you an impression of how van Bommel plays.
