My team will play a 4-3-3 formation with George Best having the freedom to either cut inside or stay out wide on the left hand side with Park playing as a left hand side box-to-box midfielder who can choose to stay central or drift out wide particularly when Best cuts inside. I will now go over some of the advantages that I think my team has in this match up and post more information on some of the less commonly drafted players in the match thread.
Advantages
Classic 442, flying wingers supported by fantastic fullbacks with Two forwards who can work as a 2.

Advantages
- The biggest advantage that I think I have in this match up is my opponents relatively weak central defender combination. I assigned Harry Maguire as a sheep in the recently completed 2023 Sheep Draft and in this article in 2023 journalist Barney Ronay describes Maguire's weaknesses as follows: "he is also the slowest player on the pitch every time he plays, and not just slow in foot race, slow in anything that requires him to flex and spring". This will be problematic against my quick, tricky attackers. I suppose he could play Hargreaves at RB and Gary Neville at CB but that would not only mean that Best should have a brilliant game against Hargreaves but would also leave two relatively short central defenders which would be problematic from set pieces given Gordon McQueen's height and Stanley Matthews crossing ability
- My 3 midfielders are all capable both with and without the ball which will give me an edge particularly if the opponents play a 2 man midfield
- I think that I have a better GK which could make all the difference as Foster was never a regular at a top end of the table premier league side and only had 6 more caps for England than Bailey (despite Bailey's career in Europe ending at 29 due to injuries and competing with the likes of Shilton and Clemence for England caps while Foster was competing with the likes of David James and Joe Hart).
